The dark matter halo mass function is a powerful cosmological probe, allowing us to test our models of dark matter and dark energy. Measuring the halo mass function is one of the key science drivers of future galaxy surveys. We present a new web-application for computing the halo mass function and we discuss optimal survey strategies for constraining dark matter and dark energy.
