MWA Observations of the Galactic Plane and Magellanic Clouds (#27)

Located in the Southern Hemisphere, the MWA is an ideal instrument for observing the low-frequency radio emission from the Galactic Plane, as well as the Small and Large Magellanic Clouds. I will present an overview of the science possible from these observations, challenges inherent in working with interferometric measurements of the diffuse sky, and show some preliminary MWA commissioning results.
