Cathryn Trott
Cathryn is an ARC DECRA Fellow at Curtin University/ICRAR, and is associated with CAASTRO. After completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne in gravitational lensing and the structure of dark matter in galaxies, Cathryn moved into medical imaging research in Boston, where she worked on developing, optimising and evaluating methods for signal detection and estimation in medical images. After returning to astronomy, Cathryn now applies these skills to applications in radio astronomy, including radio transients and the Epoch of Reionisation.
